Sixscape appoints new CEO to drive growth

Sixscape Communications, a Singapore based cryptography startup, has appointed Dean Bell to the role of CEO to build-out and grow relationships and revenue in the crypto authentication and communications space.

Dean spent the last 24 years in the region setting up and growing the international presence for a number of US and European Cybersecurity companies and focusing on enterprise, government and service provider markets. His background includes stints in the UK, Middle East, Australia and Singapore in both direct sales and channel-based go-to-market strategies.

As attack surfaces and identity compromises increase, so does the complexity in securing and management of an enterprises’ client-based exposure. This creates a unique opportunity for crypto-based solutions which are easier to use, deploy and manage, and built to support dual-stack IPv4/6 Sixscapes patented IRP (Identity Registration Protocol) addresses this by simplifying not only the initial deployment for the organization but ongoing seamless access for employees by centralizing their encrypted identity within their devices. Sixscape‘s range of certificate management, secure authentication, encrypted email, and chat close the loop on the market’s secure communications requirements.

“It’s a very exciting time to join Sixscape and witness what the team have achieved in the crypto/PKI and IPv6 space with a strong focus on secure access and identity management. The addressable market for scalable PKI certificate management and secure authentication and communications is witnessing unprecedented growth and is further driven by the opportunities presented by 5G and IoT adoption” said Bell.

Dean holds a Masters in International Business from Bradford University, UK and is a regular contributor to industry events and is based in Sixscape’s HQ in Singapore.
